The American band The Brolic from New Jersey are back with a new release, Demo Two. Their second demo was released on August 15, 2026, and features three tracks: “Short Fuse,” “Fight,” and “The Brolic.” The recording itself was made back in 2025.
The Brolic operate somewhere between Oi!, street punk, and hardcore punk, with a clear love for rock’n’roll running through their sound. The band doesn’t bother with unnecessary frills, and the recording is far from crystal clear – their music is all about directness, energy, and a raw punk feeling.
Demo Two follows their first demo from 2025, which featured five short and punchy tracks and introduced the band with a similarly hard-edged punk sound. The new release is even more stripped down, with all three tracks clocking in at just a few minutes. No filler, just a solid dose of energy – exactly how a demo should work, in my opinion. Take it or leave it.
The Brolic are continuing down a path that should appeal particularly to fans of contemporary American Oi! and street punk.
