Our favourites The Buzzers from Vancouver are back with a new edition of their Bloody Minded EP. It’s not a new release, but the original pressing is already sold out, and this new version comes with two bonus tracks, so I’m sure this is good news for fans of the band.
The Buzzers formed in 2019 and, after releasing their two-track 7″ debut in 2022, followed it up with Bloody Minded in 2025. The original six-track version featured re-recorded songs from their debut single along with four new tracks. The new repress adds two more songs that previously appeared on various compilations, specifically Hit The Bricks and Take The Night.
The Buzzers play Oi!, but their sound isn’t built around just the usual shouting and simple riffs. Melody plays a big role, while the vocals still deliver a seriously rough Oi! feeling. The result is a combination of catchiness and a proper punch in the face.
The new edition is a limited repress of 250 copies on silver vinyl. Just like the original version, it is being released by Longshot Music and TASM Records — and this partnership is absolutely on fire right now, putting out one killer release after another.
