A new punk outfit from Dublin, Topper, dropped their debut demo on Bandcamp in mid-July. Across five tracks and just under thirteen minutes, the band delivers raw, energetic punk rock that draws on the best of the classic British and Irish punk tradition while still sounding fresh and contemporary.
The demo features No Hoper, Telephone Brain, Day Drinking, Daydreaming, Badge, and No Way. Each song has its own character, yet the release holds together as a cohesive whole. Expect rough-edged production, fast-paced songs, and a genuine DIY attitude that reminds us why debut recordings are often the most honest statement a band can make and the ones that win them their first and most loyal supporters.
The band consists of Kev (vocals), Conor (guitar), Shane (bass), and Derry (drums). The demo was recorded in 2025 at Karate Klub in Dublin.
