Sometimes bad news hits hard, and today is one of those days. The hardcore scene has lost one of its greatest voices. Lou Koller, the legendary frontman of Sick Of It All, has left us.

I’d like to pay my deepest respect to a man whose passion, dedication, and commitment helped shape the music we all love. Sick Of It All was the band that introduced me to hardcore nearly thirty years ago and sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since.

Lou’s music, lyrics, and legacy will continue to inspire generations of hardcore kids, just as they carried me through both the best and the hardest moments of my life.

Thank you for everything, Lou. Your voice may be gone, but your legacy will live forever.
