Spanish band Basilisko have unveiled their first full-length release, now available on all major streaming platforms. Alongside the three previously released singles, the band have added four brand-new tracks, bringing the total to seven songs that lead listeners into the darker corners of punk music, where raw intensity meets medieval aesthetics, creating a bridge between the past and the present.
Lyrically, the record explores themes that remain painfully relevant today—violence, uncertainty, fear, human anxiety, and the search for meaning in troubled times. Basilisko weave historical imagery into contemporary reality, creating a highly distinctive sound built on powerful moods and an impressive ability to pull the listener into the atmosphere of each song. The dark musical direction is perfectly complemented by equally striking artwork and photography with a strong visual identity.
The release is a co-production between Chicken Attack Records, Kaset Ekoizpenak, Andalucía Über Alles, Olivier Crapoulet, and Flexidiscos. Recording and mixing were handled by the band themselves, while Peio Uribetxebarria took care of the mastering. Basilisko also created the album’s visual design.
