Buffalo’s TAKER have released the first single from their upcoming album Second Band on the Moon, which is expected to drop in January 2027.
Their previous release, Sons And Daughters, was one of the best things to come out of the Oi! / punk scene in 2026, and the new single „Whip This World“ suggests that TAKER have no intention of slowing down. I once heard someone describe them as what Ramones would sound like if they played Oi! And honestly, I can’t think of a better way to put it. Straightforward guitars, a catchy chorus and that unmistakable sound the band sticks to on their new track. Another killer tune that’s bound to get under your skin!
Second Band on the Moon is due out in January 2027. Until then, keep spinning the new single!
