The Dutch powerhouses MALAD haven’t been slacking off at all over the past month and just dropped two fresh tracks into the wild!
The first addition is the single „Rotterdam“ – an uncompromising ode to their hometown. The band recorded the track in Dutch (so I don’t really understand much of the lyrics :-)), but raw energy and pure hometown pride burst out from every direction.
And the next blow followed right on its heels. It’s not like we aren’t used to all kinds of wild stuff in this zine, but we definitely haven’t had this here before! MALAD decided to cover the classic disco hit „Hot Stuff“ by the legendary Donna Summer and turned it into an absolute punk banger. Taking over the mic for this cover is guitarist Jane.
The great artwork for both singles was done by their go-to graphic artist, Ramon.
