Show Of Strength have released their demo Gewalt! on streaming platforms as well as on Bandcamp.
The English band delivers a raw blend of garage punk with a distinctive sound of its own. Some tracks lean towards faster, hard-hitting punk, while others embrace a more traditional garage punk approach, giving the demo a welcome sense of variety.
Everything was recorded in a gritty analogue lo-fi style that adds plenty of character and atmosphere. The result is a raw, energetic recording that sounds like early Vice Squad meeting The Epoxies and The Distillers in a dusty underground garage.
