Hailing from the concrete depths of São Paulo, Brazil, Dormentes return with their fresh 5-track EP titled „Síndrome do Pensamento Acelerado“ (Accelerated Thought Syndrome).
Staying true to the sound of their last year’s debut, Dormentes deliver dark, bleak, and atmospheric cold Oi! that stands in stark contrast to the usual stereotype of upbeat, fiery Latin American music. The lyrics are a rolling wave of dense darkness, depression, and a sense of cold detachment. Led by the title track, the gloomy „Dissonância“, and the urban probe „Cidade Zumbi“, these five tracks drag you straight into a reality of alienation, metropolitan madness, and working-class monotony. The record was produced in July 2026 at Tyranosom studio in São Paulo and officially released on July 22, 2026.
