LONDON STRAIGHT EDGE ASSAULT: MAKE WAY DROP „LONDON HARDCORE“ DEMO!

The London scene has a new reason to mosh! New blood in the form of MAKE WAY just dropped their debut demo, and if fast, uncompromising hardcore is your style, this record is exactly for you.

This crew got together through a shared passion for the „Boston sound“ and classic straight edge. Their recipe is simple: speed, positive energy, and zero drug tolerance.

The demo features five hard-hitting tracks that clock in at under six minutes total. It’s a concentrated blast inspired by bands like Righteous Jams, Mental, and the Lockin Out aesthetic. The recording stands out with fierce vocals and an uncompromising rhythm section that won’t let you sit still.

As the band members themselves stated in an interview for BUST! fanzine: they want to put hardcore back where it belongs—right at the front of the stage, with no „horseshoes“ (empty spaces) and a healthy dose of stage dives.

The record was released on March 11, 2026, via Conviction Records. If you want a physical copy, you better click fast—the cassette edition is strictly limited to just 50 copies (30 black and 20 Aqua Blue).

You can grab it on the  Bandcamp Make Way  or the Conviction Records. website.

Final thoughts? Pure energy and sincere SxE fire. „The kids are alright!“ This demo is a solid choice for anyone who wants to hear how modern straight edge hardcore should sound.
