Italian Ska-Punk Explosion: The TroubleMakers Drop New Record “King of Chaos”

Good news for fans of authentic ska! The Italian outfit The TroubleMakers from Parma has just released its second studio album titled „King of Chaos.“ Following a successful debut that put the band firmly on the map of the European scene, this new release promises an even more polished sound and a massive dose of energy.

The TroubleMakers are no newcomers. The band consists of seasoned musicians who have played in well-known acts such as Los Fastidios, Skarnemurta, or Ground Control. That level of experience can be heard in every single note on the new album.

The record is a vibrant mosaic of ska-punk, 2-tone, rocksteady, and hints of reggae. The brass section is a standout, and everything fits together so perfectly that you’ll find yourself grooving from the very first listen. The band clearly has a natural knack for getting crowds dancing.

The album is the result of an international collaboration between Rusty Knife Records, Rumagna Sgroza, Pasidaryk Pats Records, and Punkadeka. It is available on 12” Vinyl, CD Digipack, and, of course, on all digital platforms.

To be honest, I’ve been neglecting this particular musical genre lately, focusing more on heavier stuff, but this really hooked me. If you’re looking for a soundtrack for the start of spring that will charge you with positive energy and a rebellious spirit, „King of Chaos“ is a total bullseye.
