Arene 6: Basque Street-Punk Ablaze. New Album „Sutan“ Is Out Now!

After months of intensive work throughout March 2026, the Basque five-piece Arene 6 gradually teased new tracks before finally dropping their full studio album titled „Sutan“ (translated as In Flames). Based in the coastal town of Algorta and formed back in 2019, the band is now following up on their successful debut Errautsetatik (2022) and their 2023 EP Bereizezinak.

The album was recorded between November 2025 and January 2026 and features 10 tracks. It officially hit Spotify as a full release on March 11, 2026, under the Titan Ekoizpenak label.

While their first album was titled „From the Ashes“ (Errautsetatik), with this new release, we find ourselves „In Flames.“ The band’s message is clear: “We were born from the ashes and to the ashes we shall return; but in the meantime… in this year of 2026, we intend to set ablaze every youth center, bar, and square that crosses our path!”

Arene 6 remain true to their roots—delivering melodic yet hard-hitting street-punk with lyrics in Basque. Their sound draws from a powerful local scene and the seasoned experience of members who have played in bands like MadSkins or Doubling Boys.

If you’re looking for a high-energy soundtrack for the first days of spring, „Sutan“ is a must-listen. This album confirms that the Basque Country has a thriving, potent scene with plenty to offer.
