HOUSTON, WE HAVE A (NOISE) PROBLEM: POPPERZ DROP „HOLD YOUR BREATH“

Houston’s own punk outfit Popperz have finally unleashed their new record, and it’s exactly the kind of high-energy release that grabs you from the very first chord. Titled „Hold Your Breath,“ it’s clear from the first spin that these guys left everything they had in the studio.

The road to finishing this album was anything but easy. The record serves as a powerful tribute to former member Nick Little. The band managed to write 11 of the 12 tracks with him before he passed away. The emotional centerpiece of the album is undoubtedly „Nick’s Song,“ which was built around a guitar riff Nick left behind. It’s raw, it’s honest, and it absolutely rips.

Expect 12 tracks of purebred punk energy—no filler, just straight-to-the-point grit. Jason has since stepped into the lineup, helping the band cross the finish line and injecting fresh momentum into the project.

The guys want everyone to know that this is just the dawn of a new era for Popperz. If you’re into high-octane punk with real depth, head over to Bandcamp or your preferred platform and give it a loud listen.
