Hardcore punk band Incendiary Device releases first single from new album

The band Incendiary Device comes from New York and mixes influences from the New York hardcore and punk scene in their music. Drew Stone handles vocals, while Tristan D’Graves plays bass.

Stone and D’Graves, heavily influenced by bands such as Minor Threat, Negative Approach, SSD and early Black Flag, share a long musical history together. For more than a decade they have played and toured in several New York bands (Antidote, The High & The Mighty, Drew Stone Hit Squad). The lineup is completed by Shaun Brennan on guitar and Mike Flaherty on drums.

Incendiary Device

Since forming in 2022, Incendiary Device have quickly built a strong presence on the NYHC scene. The band has developed a loyal fanbase and regularly performs at some of New York’s well-known venues, including Irving Plaza, The Brooklyn Bowl, and The Bowery Electric. Their self-titled album Incendiary Device features 12 tracks written by D’Graves, Stone and Brennan that capture the energy and anger of NYHC while also showing a knack for catchy songwriting. Thanks to that combination, the band stands out among many of their peers. Incendiary Device have already toured across the United States and shared the stage with bands such as Biohazard, Madball, Sheer Terror, Fang, Gogol Bordello, Adrenaline O.D., Shutdown, Sworn Enemy, and The Take.

The band has now released the single Young At Heart, which you can stream on all major platforms. A music video has also been released alongside the track. The song serves as a preview of the upcoming album New York City, set to be released on May 1, 2026. Pre-orders opened on April 10 through the label Demons Run Amok Entertainment for Europe and Creep Records for the USA. Another strong release from the city that never sleeps.
