The Italian band Dirty Job, which proudly claims to play for fun and to keep the true spirit of Oi! alive, remains true to its roots. Their music is exactly what the fans want – straightforward, honest, and without any unnecessary frills. I first noticed them back in 2024 with their album The World’s Decay. Looking at Bandcamp now, I see I’ve missed a few tracks since then, but now their new EP, Su Una Croce Di Ferro, is finally here.
The recording took place during October 2025. The result is a thick, aggressive sound featuring four hard-hitting tracks that capture street reality, pride, and everyday struggles – the classic themes of the genre. The song titles speak for themselves: Sempre In Mezzo Ai Guai (Always in the Middle of Trouble), L’Oi! Non Morirà (Oi! Will Not Die), Siamo Colpevoli (We Are Guilty), and Tutto Finirà (Everything Will End). You can find the full lyrics on the band’s Bandcamp page.
The band’s stance is clearly defined by a snippet from the lyrics of L’Oi! Non Morirà: “It’s not about the clothes, it’s about the head… you can’t buy or steal this sound.”
If you want to support the underground scene, the record is currently available on Bandcamp. Follow Dirty JOB on their social media so you don’t miss any more news from the Italian streets!
