German Oi!/punk band Unknown Army have uploaded two tracks from the Apocalypse Deutschland Vol. 2 compilation to YouTube. For now, this is your chance to check them out, as it seems the tapes are pretty hard to get hold of, while the vinyl is still on its way.
They’ll be in good company alongside Neustädter Jungs, Still Defiant, Sewerheads, Hafenhauer, IHLE, Unknown Army, Sperrfeuer and Zinnober. We know some of these bands from the first volume or elsewhere, while others are new to me. But overall, I’d say the quality is pretty much guaranteed.
The tape edition is out on Parting Records, while TASM-Records (Try And Stop Me Records) are handling the vinyl version. If you’re curious to hear what the second instalment of Apocalypse Deutschland has in store, these two previews from Unknown Army are a good place to start.
Give them a spin und Prost! 🍻
