From Malang, Indonesia, The Reckless deliver eight new tracks rooted in the values that have kept Oi! alive across generations. Their debut full-length, Bring Back The Glory, is out now on Bigstep Record, following the band’s earlier release Kelas Pekerja. The album brings together Oi! and streetpunk with a strong sense of identity, working-class experience and solidarity with the people who make up the scene.
Bring Back The Glory looks back to the foundations of the genre without getting stuck in the past. Everyday struggles, loyalty and the bonds between people run through a record whose message is already clear from titles like No Money No Fear and Skins and Punks. This is music built around attitude and belonging rather than polished street mythology. Across eight tracks, The Reckless add their own voice to a culture that has travelled far beyond its original home and continues to find new roots in scenes around the world.
