Laurel Aitken With The Mighty Megatones – Love And Understanding LP
Laurel Aitken With The Mighty Megatones – Love And Understanding LP
When I noticed that one of my favorite labels, Liquidator Music, was preparing to release a new record by Laurel Aitken, I was a little worried. Since Laurel Aitken passed away in 2005, I wondered what kind of material this could be. Would it be recordings made for an album that was never completed, or perhaps some […]
Smooth Beans – Sin Dudar LP
Smooth Beans – Sin Dudar LP
Smooth Beans hail from Cantabria in northern Spain. Released by my favourite label, Liquidator Music, Sin Dudar is the band’s third full-length album. After a longer break from releasing new material, they returned in 2025 with the single Amor, which served as the perfect introduction to this record. The band stays firmly rooted in traditional […]
Smooth Beans mají venku nové reggae hudební video a celé album na Liquidator music
Smooth Beans mají venku hudební video k písni Alguien Cualquiera. Ta právě vyšla na zbrusu novém albu Sin Dudar na labelu Liquidator Music. Jamajské rytmy produkuje tahle parta z Kantábrie už od roku 2008. Ska, rocksteady a reggae, pro fanoušky staromileckého přístupu a zvuku. Luquidator music opět přinesl top nahrávku od evropské kapely v tradičním […]
Smooth Beans have a new reggae music video and full album out on Liquidator Music
Smooth Beans have a music video out for the song Alguien Cualquiera. It was just released on their brand new album Sin Dudar on the Liquidator Music label. This band from Cantabria has been producing Jamaican rhythms since 2008. Ska, rocksteady and reggae, for fans of the old-school approach and sound. Once again, Luquidator Music […]
Na Liquidator music vyšlo album Laurela Aitkena a The Mighty Megatons
Liquidator Music vypustil v posledních dnech do světa neuvěřitelnou pecku. Jde o album legendárního Laurela Aitkena s hudbou od The Mighty Megatons.
An album by Laurel Aitken and The Mighty Megatons was released on Liquidator music
Liquidator Music has released an incredible gem in the last few days. It’s an album by the legendary Laurel Aitken with music performed by The Mighty Megatons. The album moves within the styles of reggae, rocksteady, and ska. Laurel’s voice truly shines here, and in my opinion the songs on this record belong among the […]
Smooth Beans – Amor / Walk The Streets 7″
Smooth Beans – Amor / Walk The Streets 7″
Smooth Beans are a band from the Cantabria region in Spain that has been active on the scene since 2008. Their sound blends primarily reggae and rocksteady. From time to time I come across modern projects that like to label their music as “rocksteady,” but in reality it’s often just monotonous, annoying, bouncy tunes. Then […]
Roy Ellis – Mr. Symarip Live In Prague LP
Roy Ellis – Mr. Symarip Live In Prague LP
I was thinking about how to begin this review, and in the end I just can’t help starting with a personal memory. Symarip was one of the first bands I discovered as a teenager in the skinhead reggae section. I devoured stories about how the band was originally called The Pyramids, and how by reversing […]
