French Oi! band Résilience are back with their second full-length album, À l’ombre du brasier, which has just been released! The new record features eight brand-new tracks plus an intro and is available on all streaming platforms as well as on vinyl.
If you’re familiar with the band’s previous releases, you probably know what to expect. Raw and melodic Oi! with a dark atmosphere, sharp guitar riffs, pounding rhythms and choruses that are made for singing along to. No unnecessary frills, just honest street music packed with energy and melodies that will stick in your head.
Résilience first appeared on the Paris On Oi! compilation released by UVPR in 2022. This was followed by the Résilience EP on Mendeku in 2023 and their debut album Grise Époque a year later. On À l’ombre du brasier, they stick to the sound that works for them, carrying on the tradition of classic French Oi! in a way that feels relevant today.
The LP is available in 400 copies on black vinyl and 100 copies on oxblood vinyl with black marbling. There are also 15 test pressings featuring alternative artwork.
