Psychobilly Diva Mad Marge Has Returned

Hell yeah, is it even possible that it has been 20years since Mad Marge first raided our side of the Atlantic? I wouldn’t say so, but mirror tells me other story… But you know what? You can’t hear it from her third album Dead and Gone.

This year album was already teased by singles in recent years, and it runs like clockwork. If the Californian singer has slowed down at all, it’s only to the benefit of the overall listening experience. Her soulful vocals remain a trademark, and the 11 tracks fully build on her more mature second LP, Liberated. You don’t have to worry about repetitive psychobilly—the punk edge remains, and you’ll even get a glimpse of related genres.

In short, the album is definitely worth a listen, and for the true vynilheads, Crazy Love Records has also released it on vinyl.
