New York hardcore (NYHC) icons Madball have stormed into spring with some killer news. The band has dropped a brand-new music video for their single “Rebel Kids” and simultaneously shared details about their upcoming studio album.
The new record is titled “Not Your Kingdom” and is set to officially drop on July 24, 2026, via the renowned label Nuclear Blast Records. Pre-orders are now live, and the track is already spinning on all major streaming platforms.
The music video for “Rebel Kids” was filmed and edited in Nashville, Tennessee. Directorial duties were handled by Dave Causa alongside the band’s frontman, Freddy Cricien.
Musician Chuck Treece revealed some interesting background info about the track on social media. He, along with Streece Sound System, crafted the intro for the song, giving it a Nashville country/soul vibe—somewhat unconventional by Madball standards, but exactly what the band asked for. Other than that, it’s a purebred, uncompromising hardcore banger from start to finish!
