Boston trio The Chelsea Curve have just officially dropped their new record titled The Rideout under the wings of the trusted label Rum Bar Records! If your playlist is missing a solid dose of melodic power-pop laced with classic British mod culture, we’ve got just the tip for you. As the band themselves shared on their Instagram, this record is a seven-song musical drive through pure „mod heaven.“
The release is packed with catchy hooks, harmonic melodies, and plenty of guitar buzz—yielding a total of seven high-energy tracks.
The lyrics were mostly handled by bassist and vocalist Linda Pardee, who by the way also took care of the album design, with the exception of the killer track Never Come Down, penned by guitarist Tim Gillis, and the closing anthem Rally ‚Round, which they tackled together. Holding down the fort behind the drum kit is Bruce Caporal.
The album was released on May 1, 2026, and alongside the digital version on Bandcamp, CDs are also available through Rum Bar Records.
