Esprit de Corps are back with a new release. The Oi! band operating between Montreal and Gainesville have put out Two Song Promo, released at the beginning of September.
The release features two new tracks – “Animo Et Fide” and “Sales Histoires.” The first one is dedicated to strength, loyalty and pride, while “Sales Histoires” takes aim at gossip, bullshit and people who feel the need to constantly spread their own “stories.” Both songs are sung in French.
Esprit de Corps appeared on the scene this year and already released their self-titled debut EP in April. Their Oi! is built around melodic choruses, hard guitars and a strong connection to classic French Oi!, with the band themselves citing Chaos En France as an influence.
Two Song Promo is currently available on Bandcamp and YouTube, with more platforms coming soon. The two tracks clock in at just under four minutes, but that’s exactly enough time for Esprit de Corps to remind us they’re here and leave us looking forward to whatever comes next.
