Our favorite hero in the pink mask is back, bringing a fresh dose of synths and punk rock! The French one-man project Cuir, which has conquered the scene with its unique mix of catchy melodies and punk energy, has just announced news regarding the upcoming album titled „MONOFACE.“
As the name suggests, the new release comes with an interesting technical specification – all 8 new tracks fit onto a single side of the record. The tracklist includes the two most recent singles, „Dernière Minute“ and „Road Trip,“ which already make it clear that Cuir hasn’t slowed down his frantic pace one bit.
To ensure the record reaches fans worldwide, a coalition of labels is taking charge. In Europe, the release will be handled by Offside Records, while our traditional allies at Joe Pogo Records will manage distribution in the USA, Canada, and Asia.
Collectors can look forward to a full range of formats – „MONOFACE“ will be released on vinyl (single-sided), cassette (if all 8 songs are on one side here too, I foresee a few stomped-on pink tapes), and CD (where it doesn’t really matter).
The visual side of the record, including the iconic pink aesthetic, is once again the work of the resident artist @giggz_og_..
