Une Vie Pour Rien Vinyles has released information that a new 7-inch single from the band Columba Triste, entitled Spécial Déglingue, will be released on September 17th.
Columba Triste is a band from Lille, France. So far, they have released the single En Feu and a 12″ Maxi single with five songs on UVPR in 2025. The band mixes punk, Oi! and coldwave in their work. The new single contains two songs and you can listen to it on the band’s Bandcamp. In addition to the aforementioned influences, there is also a slight influence of dub/reggae. I have not heard of the band yet, but their new single appealed to me because of its unusualness.
I was also intrigued by the beautiful description of the band’s new single on their Bandcamp, which I borrowed : „This record is for all night owls with a heavy heart, for all those who long for life, for those who will never say, for friends from Lille and elsewhere, for mothers, fathers, surrogate fathers and mothers, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, cousins, for us, for you and for everyone else, for punks, shaved heads, weirdos yesterday and today, and we dedicate it especially to Neness Rockmitaine, who has embarked on a journey to the kingdom of rockers. Devils and angels, never far away. Sometimes down, always at war.“
