An Slua from Ireland released the incredible album Sure Look It last year. You can read our review of it on the website. It definitely belonged among the best records released last year, and it hasn’t disappeared from my turntable — quite the opposite, it keeps coming back in regular intervals.

Recently, I noticed two important pieces of news on the band’s social media.

First: their friend Oscar Hackett captured one of their performances, and the result is a video for the song Dry Shite, which is the main banger from the aforementioned album. We’ve included the video below.

Second: the band announced that they are nearing the end of recording a new album. And that gives me a pretty good reason to start looking forward to another interesting release. The band oscillates between Oi!, punk, and other influences, but together it all creates an original and distinctive sound.

So there’s definitely something to look forward to. And I’m damn excited about it!
