Wasted from Finland: new album to celebrate thirty years of existence

In 1996, the band Wasted was formed in the Finnish town of Joensuu. This year, the band celebrates thirty years of existence.

From the very beginning, Wasted built its sound on a combination of energetic hardcore punk, memorable melodies, and a strong DIY ethos. The band has long been closely associated with the legendary Finnish DIY label Combat Rock Industry, which helped define the modern Finnish punk scene at the turn of the millennium alongside bands such as Endstand and Manifesto Jukebox. Over the course of their career, Wasted have played nearly 1,000 shows across Europe.

Excluding their split release with Manifesto Jukebox, The Future Is On Fire is Wasted’s eighth full-length studio album. Once again, it was released through Combat Rock Industry.
