Common People Records has announced a treat for all fans of classic European Oi!. The complete collection „Oi! Generation… Paris 1990-1995“ by the legendary French band The Herberts, fronted by the iconic Alteau, a recognized illustrator and graphic artist, who with his drawings defined the visual style of many punk and skinhead zines and album covers, is being released on vinyl. This release maps out the band’s entire studio journey from the first half of the nineties. The core consists of 6 tracks from their only two EPs: „Dans La Rue“ (1993) and „Oi! Generation“ (1994), supplemented by four ultra-rare tracks from cult compilations like Christmas Party (1992) or Oi! It’s A World League (1992), plus alternative versions, covers, and two explosive live tracks from their 1992 Rouen performance appearing on vinyl for the first time.
The release is strictly limited to 600 copies with several color variants to choose from: 300 copies on black vinyl, 100 copies each in „sea blue,“ white, and red, and each LP comes with an insert and a large-format A2 poster.
Pre-orders are already running and shipping starts on March 16th, 2026.
