The Upsessions And Monty Neysmith – Sheriff Double Gun LP
The Upsessions patří k těžkým vahám evropského, respektive světového revivalu early reggae, ska a rocksteady.
The Upsessions And Monty Neysmith – Sheriff Double Gun LP
The Upsessions are among the heavyweights of the European, or even global, revival scene dedicated to early reggae, ska and rocksteady. They have already proved their musical abilities on several albums, while an interview we did with them earlier this year confirmed that they are also a genuinely likeable bunch. This year, they released a […]
Rocksteady Conspiracy released an album on Aggrobeat Records
Rocksteady Conspiracy is a band from Vienna that actually plays rocksteady. Seriously! If you’re tired of all those punk bands that just added a horn section and decided to play a high school prom, this is exactly what you’ve been missing: a high-quality blend of ska, rocksteady, and early reggae delivered by a contemporary band. […]
A to mix ska, rocksteady & early reggae, hrané současnou kapelou a ve velmi dobré kvalitě. Kromě toho […]
Busters Allstars a.k.a. Bad Manners – Skinhead Girl 7″
Bad Manners are a famous name in the world of ska. Anyone who hasn’t spent the last forty years living in a vacuum will undoubtedly recognize Buster Bloodvessel and his trademark tongue-out grin. Personally, discovering this band was one of the moments that drew me into ska and made me completely fall for the genre […]
Busters Allstars a.k.a. Bad Manners – Skinhead Girl 7″
Stranger Cole And Patsy – Royal LP
I’m writing this review only a short time after the news of Stranger Cole‚s passing spread around the world. He was a man who had been part of the Jamaican music scene since its most celebrated early days. Before his death, he managed to release an album on Aggrobeat Records in 2025, teaming up with singer Patsy. According […]
Stranger Cole And Patsy – Royal LP
The Upsessions – Shake It! LP
Last year, Aggrobeat Records reissued the long sold-out album Shake It! by reggae outfit The Upsessions — a band that stands among the leaders of today’s retro reggae wave. Their sound consciously builds on the golden era of the late 1960s and early 1970s, delivering it with such ease and attention to detail that it […]
The Upsessions – Shake It! LP
Label Aggrobeat Records loni znovu vydal dávno vyprodané album Shake It! od reggae party The Upsessions – kapely, která dnes patří k lídrům současné vlny retro reggae.
