REMDIK ON THE RAID! Slovak HC/Oi! crew is back with a new single and video

The hardcore/Oi! punk crew Remdik from Žilina is making some serious noise once again, and they’re certainly pulling no punches. They’ve just dropped a fresh single with the provocative title „Razie na policajné stanice“ (Raid on Police Stations).

But don’t just expect mindless noise. The band accompanied the release with a statement that the lyrics are an allusion to a medieval treatise on one of the oldest human perversions – the abuse of power. Make of it what you will. With a healthy dose of irony, Remdik is taking aim at institutions that are supposed to serve the people but instead use their questionable power to bully them.

This single is just the appetizer for the main course. The theme of resistance and institutional critique runs through the entire upcoming album, fittingly titled „Potkany patria do diery“ (Rats Belong in the Hole). The record is set to be released on May 1st, 2026, via Kabinet Records.

The first official music video for the single is already out, so go check it out!

Musically, Remdik stays true to their roots – expect a value-driven mix influenced by old-school Boston and New York, delivered with that trademark Slovak attitude and humor. As they say themselves: “The story of the mystifiers lives on!”

Support the scene, watch the video on YouTube, and be ready on May 1st at Kabinet Records. Let’s support each other, meet, listen to each other!
