The Oi!/punk community once again proves that its strength is not only in the music, but above all in solidarity. Label Oitism Records has released a special collection of twelve rare and previously unreleased tracks, with all proceeds going to the family of Arran “Sprout” Richards, who passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind young children.
The release is available exclusively through Bandcamp for $10 and features material collected over several years from different studio sessions. Two tracks were originally only available on vinyl, three others are cover versions of songs by Vanguard, The Fuck Ups, and Meat Loaf, while the rest of the collection consists of previously recorded but never released tracks.
Arran “Sprout” Richards was a longtime supporter of various scene-related projects and always stood behind the causes the community cared about. Now it’s time to return that support and help his family through this difficult time.
