The Argentine band Scarponi has just released a new music video for „Pasión y Orgullo“ – which means Passion and Pride.
You can find the video on their YouTube channel, and it is worth seeing because it perfectly captures what Scarponi is all about – honest street life, a crew of friends, no pretense.
The video was shot in several Buenos Aires neighborhoods – La Paternal, Villa Crespo, and Lugano I and II – the places where the band comes from and lives. No studios or props, just the real life of the city, a camera, a few beers, and a ton of energy. The entire clip was made in collaboration with the band’s friends, which gives it an authentic feel.
Scarponi has been active since 2004 and is one of the pillars of Argentine Oi! Their music is based on raw riffs, singalong choruses, and lyrics about pride, friendship, and the daily struggle. They remain true to their roots – no big speeches, just life as it is.
„Pasión y Orgullo“ shows that the band hasn’t lost its drive and that they are still fueled by what has shaped them from the beginning – faith in the street, heart, and loyalty.
