Guadalajara’s own MESS are currently one of the most talked-about names in the global Oi! and street punk scene. If you’re a vinyl collector, you already know how challenging it is to track down their earlier recordings. However, that struggle is over thanks to Pirates Press Records.
The label has just released an album titled „SOMOS MESS,“ which, for the very first time, collects all of the band’s rare and out-of-print singles and EPs from 2020–2022 on a single LP. This compilation features their entire output prior to their debut album Under Attack—from cult anthems like „Don’t Look Back“ and „True Love“ to tracks from the Intercity and Fuego Fuego Fuego EPs, as well as the „Traidores“ single. It even includes tracks from their now impossible-to-find split with The Chisel.
Every track has been freshly remastered and should sound better than ever. The record is available in several limited color variants, including Electric Smoke, Twilight Marble, and Black & White Ripple.
The album is available now on streaming platforms, Bandcamp, and in record stores. Furthermore, MESS will be in full swing this summer, heading to Europe in August for appearances including the legendary Rebellion Festival in the UK.
