Local Hero is a band from Oslo that describes their work as hearland punk.
Generally, it’s ultra melodic punk rock with a touch of sentimentality. Something that bands like The Gaslight Anthem play.
This is completely marginal to the focus of our zine, but the guys wrote to us, so why not? Love it, hate it or feel whatever you want about it., maybe someone will find relief here in the flood of harder music that they usually listen to.
