I recently discovered the Barcelona-based streetpunk band Kire, and they immediately caught my attention. La Plaga DIY, Kremón Records, Soroll, Ribot Records, Kontraatak, Frontal Distribución, and Crapoulet Records have recently joined forces to release a vinyl compilation bringing together the band’s two previous recordings, Tiempos De Cambio and Carta De Despedida.
If you’re into melodic streetpunk with passionate vocals, memorable choruses, and enough energy to keep you hooked from start to finish, this record is well worth checking out. For me, it’s one of those albums that keeps finding its way back onto the turntable.
