The Sacramento-based Californian powerhouse Jackknife Johnny has just unleashed a fresh dose of music in the form of a brand-new two-track single. Both songs delve into the somber theme of losing a friend, each from a different perspective.

The first track, „No Surprise,“ deals with unforgivable betrayal—a pure street rock ’n’ roll anthem. The second cut, „On The Rocks,“ is even darker; a raw testimony about drugs and their consequences, featuring a more uncompromising hardcore approach in certain passages.

The release is currently available on their Bandcamp, and the band promises it will soon hit all other streaming platforms. Also worth mentioning is the killer cover art by @micklambrou.
