French Oi! outfit Haut et Fort released their debut demo at the beginning of July. The six-track release draws on classic themes of the genre, working-class pride, the identity of Northern France, skinhead unity, gigs, friendship, and everyday life. The band openly embraces the mining heritage of their region, paying tribute in their lyrics to the working class and the enduring spirit of Oi!.
Recorded entirely on a DIY basis, the demo was created above all through passion and a desire to make honest, authentic music that stays true to the genre’s roots.
