I had pretty much forgotten about GAVL since their three-track EP Beat, released in 2024. And yet they are exactly the kind of band that would be a shame to let slip from your radar. Now they are back with a new track “Street Kids”, and I have to say, it’s a damn good one.
GAVL deliver exactly the kind of Oi! that has energy, drive and works from the very first listen. “Street Kids” is a proper banger that will take you back within seconds to why you liked this band in the first place.
If you’re in the same boat as me and GAVL have somehow disappeared from your radar over the last couple of years, “Street Kids” is the perfect opportunity to remind yourself about them. Give it a spin and let that sound, energy and simple power of good Oi! hit you again.
