Finnish Oi!/punk force Laki & Järjestys reports that new material is already in the works. To shorten the wait for their fans, they’ve decided to take a look in the rearview mirror, pulling two older tracks from the archives to release them in their original, unpolished form.

The original demo versions of „TYLY MAAILMA“ and „PIDÄ VARAS!“ have just hit Spotify.

• „TYLY MAAILMA“ is an uncompromising Finnish take on the banger „No Room For You“ by Britain’s The Partisans. It preserves the urgency of the original while adding that signature Finnish coldness and grit.

• „PIDÄ VARAS!“ sees the band tackling one of the biggest Oi! anthems of all time—a cover of the hit „I Got Your Number“ by the legendary Cock Sparrer.

According to the band, these recordings capture a „raw, energetic, and authentic atmosphere“ in their earliest form. From a listener’s perspective, I have to agree. It’s as hard as a boot to the ribs—you can practically hear the crunch.

For fans of physical media, there’s good news: these recordings are being released under the title „Demo 2022“ on CDEP via the Kanavakaupungin Levyt label. As is tradition with this band, it’s a very limited run. If you want this CD in your collection, don’t hesitate—the band is taking orders directly through DMs on their social media.
