After two years of writing and recording, the Welsh street punk trio Fatal Blow returns to the scene with a hard-hitting new record. Titled „The Sharp End“, the album is released under the German label Mad Butcher Records and delivers exactly what you’d expect from these three working-class lads from South Wales: straightforward, raw, and politically engaged Oi! punk.
The album features 12 tracks that aren’t afraid to cut deep. The lyrics focus on social themes—ranging from rising inequality and racism to deindustrialization and the injustices of the class system. The band, consisting of Cobley (vocals, guitar), Wayne (bass), and Kizz (drums), recorded at Red Rock Studios. The result is a collection of catchy, hard-hitting tracks that land like a punch.

I saw the guys live in early May at AFA fest in Prague, and they are absolutely tight on stage, as you can see in the video below where they play the opening track from the new record.
If you are looking for authentic street punk with a strong message and a working-class spirit, „The Sharp End“ should not be missing from your collection. The album is available on all formats via Mad Butcher Records.
