If her name doesn’t ring your bell, her main rockabilly outfit, The Hillbilly Moon Explosion, may help. They’re probably best known outside their usual circles for those killer collabs with Sparky, the frontman of Demented Are Go.
She’s teamed up with a bunch of top-tier musicians to deliver a record that’s definitely worth a spin. I’m not promising it’ll be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you can’t imagine hitting the road without blasting Love for Evermore, you’ve got a solid chance of finding a few more favorites for your playlist here. Expect rockabilly laced with all sorts of influences, shifting tempos, and, of course, that incredible voice.
