This new striking force from Dresden, calling themselves Detønation, hooked me on the very first listen, and I’ve been spinning it on repeat ever since.
The band describes themselves as a „new striking force from Dresden,“ building bridges at times when everything around is being destroyed. And their music delivers exactly that. Wasting no time, they’ve unleashed their debut release with the all-telling title „Kill!“. The record was laid down in late May 2026 at my favorite Dresden venue and studio, Chemiefabrik , and has been officially out since June 20, 2026.
If you’re into sharp, straightforward, energetic Oi! punk with a bit of hardcore drive, this is right up your alley. The release features a total of 8 tracks. The band consists of a four-piece lineup: Tommi (vocals), Lisa (bass), Chippy (guitar), and Herzi (drums).
The whole thing is currently available digitally on their Bandcamp under the „name your price“ option – so you can drop any amount you want to support the band.
