An interesting project with roots in England and Germany has recently appeared online. It describes itself as working class rock’n’roll and goes by the name Blinder.

The central figure is Barney, originally from Birmingham, who now lives in Germany. There he teamed up with local musicians, formed this project, and has just released their first two singles online.

In his lyrics, Barney reflects on his experiences in the army and his time in a war conflict, as well as his perspective on former hostilities between countries that have shaped his life. It’s a very promising project
