An interesting hardcore project is coming from the west coast of the USA. It’s called Birdlegs and their debut album Visions Beyond The Ape Cave was released on Revelation records.

The band is made up of Eric Ozenne (from The Nerve Agents, Redemption 87, Unit Pride), Jade Puget (from AFI, Redemption 87), Gary Gutfeld (from Corduroy, The Hi-Fives), and Ryan Doria (from Overexposure, Pressure Cracks).

It’s clear from the lineup that these are serious musicians and the quality of their production matches that. Uncompromising and productive hardcore punk with a sound from the turn of the 80s and 90s.

You can listen to the album on bandcamp, streaming platforms and buy it in vinyl. This is a clear recommendation, it sounds great.
