New York hardcore crew A Breed Apart are back with a new video for “Bastards n Scumbags”. The band first emerged in 2014, bringing raw, straight-to-the-point NYHC with a clear old-school attitude. After releasing their No Victims demo in 2014, they’re still carrying that same spirit forward.
The band have been through changes along the way, but they’re not calling it quits. With Alan now taking over the drums full-time, A Breed Apart are back with a renewed commitment and a new lineup: Anti Ant on vocals, Chris DaRifff on guitar, Manny on bass and Alan behind the kit.
They’re also working on a new EP, Nothing Left to Lose, due out in 2026 via New Found Hope Records. The new material carries a personal weight, paying respect to the people who helped build the band and those they’ve lost along the way.
No trends, no bullshit, just old-school New York hardcore. Check out the new video for “Bastards n Scumbags” and keep an eye out for the upcoming EP.
