If you’re into raw street punk and no-frills honesty, you’re on the right track. Toifel, the unmistakable voice of Germany’s Berliner Weisse, has decided to strike out on his own. Under the wings of Smith & Miller Records, he is releasing his debut solo album with the provocative title „Für immer Euer Feind!“ (Forever Your Enemy).
Toifel promises 12 tracks that serve as an aggressive strike against hypocrisy, social arrogance, and fake friendships. The lyrics, some of which are up to five years old, stem from a darker period of his past. They aim not only to provoke thought but also to offer courage and a helping hand to those going through their own darkest times. According to Coretex Records, this is a record that pushes the boundaries of street punk to a whole new level.
For the fans of physical media, there’s a serious haul waiting for you Vinyl 180g neon green/black marbled wax, limited to 1,000 hand-numbered copies including an insert and CD a Digipack version complete with a booklet.
If you’d rather burn through your data, Toifel is gradually uploading tracks to Spotify. You can already add bangers like „Wo wart Ihr?“, „Keine Brüder“ (my personal favorite so far!), or the brand-new single „Kinderaugen“ to your playlist.
If you enjoy bands like Oxo 86, Loikaemie, or Stomper 98, this album shouldn’t be missing from your shelf—or your ears. Pre-orders are already live at coretexrecords.com.
