The Zsa Zsa Gabor’s have released „Outcasts in the City“ and are preparing a new album

The Austrian punk quartet The Zsa Zsa Gabor’s from Sankt Pölten has released their new single, „Outcasts in the City,“ which appeared on their channels and streaming services earlier in November. The band is once again generating buzz—and rightly so.

This track hits you like a punch to the ribs: under three minutes long, direct, and featuring a melody wrapped in the slightly gritty, urban veneer that is typical of ZZG. Musically, there are no unnecessary frills. The guitar runs non-stop, the rhythm section maintains a sharp pulse, and the vocals possess precisely the urgency that only works when punk sounds honest and uncalculated.

„Outcasts in the City“ continues the band’s long-standing tradition: punk about people, their daily struggles in the city, and the feeling that the world around you operates according to rules you didn’t choose. It is a song for those who don’t fit into society’s neat display case—and simultaneously for everyone who has found their own strength and identity in this position.

According to information published by the band, the single is the precursor to their new album, „Life’s Routine,“ which The Zsa Zsa Gabor’s are preparing for the end of the year via Mad Butcher records. If the upcoming album continues in the same vein, we can expect a dose of raw and thoughtful punk that never loses touch with the street. „Outcasts in the City“ proves that ZZG still has something to say and keeps punk alive, authentic, and still a little dangerous.
