The printed zine Spotty Herbert has announced that another issue of the zine is on the way, and this time it will once again come with a vinyl compilation. Since you don’t change a winning team, the artwork was once again handled by Malwina from Old School Design.
The lineup of participating bands is once again absolutely outstanding, featuring: Brut, Sympos, The Young Ones, No Heart, Esprit De Corps, Taker, Kong Kong, Scalpo, Wrong Side, Choke Combat, Out Of Order, The Reapers, Tear Up, Raise A Flag and Prisonnier Du Temps. Unlike the previous compilation, this one will feature bands from all over the world. If you want to read our review of the latest Spotty Herbert compilation, you can find it here.
The compilation is once again being released in cooperation with the labels Longshot Music and Try And Stop Me Records. This is great work, and I recommend that everyone support this zine. I also have nothing but admiration for everyone who still finds enough energy, time and money to keep working on printed zines, because from my own experience I know just how much work goes into them, often with no clear outcome. In a world of instant dopamine delivered through social media, a printed zine remains an unbeatable and unique concept.
