THE SNOUTERS: An Italian ska-punk ride as a taste of the new album „Snouts Up!“

Italy’s The Snouters are no newcomers to the scene; they are a project composed of experienced musicians who have been active in the international punk underground for years. Their sound is an original blend of influences ranging from roots ska to Californian punk, dominated by a characteristic, bluesy, and scratchy female voice. Since their formation in 2024 and the release of their first EP, they have already made waves with their reinterpretation of „Ghost Town“ by The Specials.

To draw attention to their upcoming record, the band has unleashed the powerful single „Crosswords“. Despite its upbeat and fast-paced melody, the track dives into darker territory—the lyrics deal with toxic and violent relationships and the necessity of breaking those chains to breathe freely again. The musical identity of the single is significantly shaped by guest Alessandro „Poto“ Esposti on keyboards.

Their debut full-length album, titled „Snouts Up!“, is scheduled for release on Friday, February 6, 2026. The release is a collaborative effort between a strong international trio of labels: Rumagna Sgroza Records (IT), Fire and Flames Music (DE), and Rusty Knife Label (FR). In addition to streaming platforms, fans can look forward to a vinyl version. To support the release, the band is hitting the road in March for a European tour managed by Billig People Booking to present the new material live.

As The Snouters say: „No more excuses, the time has come!“. So, keep your snouts up!
