Baltimore’s scene has some hot new blood to boast about – the band The S.E.T.. They’ve just unleashed their debut single and music video for the track „T.M.T.“ (which stands for „The Motherfucking Truth“). The video, packed with raw footage from the streets of Baltimore, was directed by Rob Silver.
The lineup is more than interesting for fans of the genre:
-
Brady Ebert (guitar) – founding member and former guitarist of Turnstile.
-
Che Figueroa (bass) – founder of the cult label Flatspot Records.
-
Ryan Fauver (drums) – former member of Baltimore’s End It.
-
Tim (vocals) – whom the guys „scouted“ right on stage at the Disturbin’ The Peace festival.
Musically, don’t expect any experiments in the vein of later Turnstile. „T.M.T.“ is uncompromising hardcore with a thrashy edge. I’d call it a classic sound with a fresh take – it definitely won’t disappoint.
The track serves as a harbinger for their debut EP titled „Self Evident Truth,“ which is set to be released on March 6th, 2026, under Flatspot Records.
